Design Bureau

The Design Bureau (DB) is headed by Telman Inayat Nizamov, Doctor of Engineering, Academician of the International and Azerbaijan Academies of Engineering, Laureate of the State Prize.

Relevant directions of new generation scientific-practical device development based on KB innovative technologies:

  • Development and application of new modifications in accordance with ICAO requirements based on the improvement of methods, technologies and technical equipment to provide surface service and environmental conditions in the ports of AZAL CJSC;
  • Development and application of ozone-based technologies to improve the efficiency of agriculture and maintain the gene pool;
  • Development and application of automatic electric heating devices against hydrate and paraffin in oil and gas extraction and transportation;
  • Creation and application of polyester-based composite protective coatings in order to prevent intensive grafting of the ground service arsenal at Heydar Aliyev Airport;

Pilot samples of special significance ozone technology and related devices, developed for the first time in our country, are applied in aviation, medicine, agriculture and other fields.

The Design Bureau was organized in 2004 and includes: Design and Technology Department,  Department of Biophysical Devices,  and Robotics Department.

Head

Telman Nizamov graduated from the Azerbaijan Institute of Oil and Chemistry (currently, the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry) in 1962 as an electrical engineer.

He is the author or co-author of over 170 scientific papers published in national and international scientific journals, including about 65 national and international patents and 1 textbook. He was awarded the title "Inventor of the USSR".

Telman Nizamov won the competition for new methods and technologies invented and applied by scientists and specialists of AZAL CJSC and the National Aviation Academy; took second place in republican competitions in the invention in 2015 and first place in 2016 and 2017.

Telman Nizamov was awarded the gold medal of the Azerbaijan Engineering Academy "Muhyandislik Ryashadyati" ("Engineering Mastery"); laureate of the State Prize of the Azerbaijan SSR.
