On April 3, 2025, an official meeting was held at the National Aviation Academy (NAA) with a delegation from the National Aerospace University named after N.E. Zhukovsky — Kharkiv Aviation Institute (KAI) of Ukraine. The primary objective of the event was to explore the potential for collaboration between the two esteemed higher education institutions.
The event commenced with an address from First Vice-Rector of NAA, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Adalat Samedov, who provided an in-depth overview of the academy's history, its present initiatives, and its international partnerships. Following this, Mikhail Garayev, the Vice-Rector of KAI for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and International Relation, Candidate of Economic Sciences, spoke about the objectives of the meeting and emphasized the significance of collaborative efforts.
In the course of the discussions, significant emphasis was placed on topics concerning the establishment of joint educational initiatives, the academic mobility of both students and faculty, the creation of collaborative research endeavors, and the enhancement of scientific partnerships in various fields. Furthermore, Dmitry Kritsky, the Dean of the Faculty of Aircraft Construction at KAI and a Candidate of Technical Sciences, delivered an in-depth presentation on activities pertaining to contemporary technologies, the advancement of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and the rollout of innovative educational programs.
In the course of the meeting, Mikail Garayev, representing Acting Rector of KAI, Doctor of Law Alexey Litvinov, presented commemorative gifts to the Rector of NAA, Academician Arif Pashayev. Following this, the delegation explored the Academy's training center, various training and problem laboratories, the Technorhythm Center, as well as other scientific and educational infrastructure facilities.
To conclude the meeting, the participants arrived at a shared understanding to enhance academic collaboration and pursue future joint projects.
