AEROSPACE FACULTY

Computer Engineering

Computer Engineering is a speciality encompassing the science and technology of designing, constructing, implementing and maintaining the software and hardware components of modern computing systems, computer-controlled equipment and networks of intelligent devices. It is a combination of computer science and electrical engineering principles covering embedded systems, areas such as cyber security and data analysis.

Computer Engineering also focuses on emerging technologies, ethical considerations and professional practice, becoming a guarantee that graduates are well prepared to meet the challenges of the rapidly evolving technological landscape in order to contribute to innovation in areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT).

For detailed information, you can read the full joint reports of Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and IEEE Computer Society (IEEE-CS) here (CE2016, CC2020).

Under this specialty, from 2024, according to the updated study program bachelor's preparation is conducted in the following areas:

  • Artificial intelligence
  • Cybersecurity
  • Full-stack developer
  • Network and system administration

Education Azerbaijani project organized by English languages.
